TRIVIA :
  • Package film composed of two segments - "Bongo" and "Mickey and the Beanstalk" - some countries along the years only dubbed the segment "Mickey and the Beanstalk", either as a stand-alone short, or part of other short film compilations.
    Those versions mostly used the alternative narration by character Ludwig von Drake and his sidekick Herman the Bootle Beetle from a 1963 TV episode airing.
    Some countries which had initially dubbed the Mickey segment alone eventually dubbed the full movie afterwards, either using the dub made for the Mickey short and including it (Egypt & Romania), or re-dubbing it completely (Hong Kong, Greece, Israel, Hungary, Japan, Poland & Turkey).
  • When Italy and Norway re-issued the movie in later years, they only redubbed Mickey's short, not the full movie, keeping their original dubbing for the live-action narration and Bongo's segment (as well as the Singing Harp in Norwegian).
    Sweden also re-dubbed Mickey's short as well as the live-action narration - but kept the original dubbing for Jiminy Cricket and Bongo's short.
  • Germany first dubbed the short "Mickey and the Beanstalk" without any narration; then the Bongo segment without the live-action narration in the 1970s, and eventually the whole film in 1992.
  • Israel, just like Germany, made separate dubbings for "Mickey and the Beanstalk" and for "Bongo" for various VHS and DVD release, until he movie was fully dubbed in 2022 for Disney+.
  • Germany and Japan re-issued "Mickey and the Beanstalk" as a stand-alone short in 1993 and in 2006 respectively, but kept their original dubbings of the short, dubbing only the new narration by Ludwig von Drake and Herman.
  • This was the last time Walt Disney voiced Mickey Mouse in the original version. He had actually recorded some of the dialogues as early as 1940, and when the movie went into production again in 1946, Walt's voice changed too much and Jimmy MacDonald stepped up to finish the last recordings.

  • "Mickey Mouse and Friends" features being only dubbed in Modern Standard Arabic; the short, and then the whole movie, were dubbed in MSA and never in Egyptian Arabic.
