- Release date :
Iceland - September 26, 2007 (DVD) - The movie never received a proper Icelandic title, as it was only released once in DVD in Iceland using the English title. The subtitle "Öskubuska: Töfrastundin" can be seen at the beginning of the film.
- Originally, Vigdís Hrefna Pálsdóttir should have returned as Cinderella in this sequel, but she had to cancel this project as she was moving to London. She asked to her best friend, Álfrún Örnólfsdóttir, to replace her. The same happened for Tinker Bell (2008).
Source : Vigdís Hrefna Pálsdóttir - While Edda Björg Eyjólfsdóttir dubbed Anastasia (Jósefina) and Kolbrún Anna Björnsdóttir dubbed Drizella (Lovísa) in the first two movies, they switched characters in this movie because the Icelandic names of the characters (Jósefina and Lovísa) were switched in the script, and nobody realized the mistake until Kolbrún brought it up. However, Edda Björg had already recorded her parts as Drizella and was not available anymore. Therefore, Edda Björg Eyjólfsdóttir became Drizella and Kolbrún Anna Björnsdóttir became Anastasia.
Source : Kolbrún Anna Björnsdóttir - A translation mistake was made in the scene in which Lady Tremaine is ordering the Grand Duke to remove the flowers because of her daughter's allergy: instead of saying "Jósefína", Anastasia's icelandic name, she calls her by her English name "Anastasia".
- Even though she's part of the additional voices, Sif Ragnhildardóttir didn't reprise her role as the Fairy Godmother.
And while she sang for the character, and did some additional voice(s), Hanna María Karlsdóttir didn't dub the speaking parts of the character either.
Sources : Sif Ragnhildardóttir / Hanna María Karlsdóttir - Helga Elínborg Jónsdóttir, the voice of Lady Tremaine, is the mother of Álfrún Helga Örnólfsdóttir, the voice of Cinderella, and of Margrét Örnólfsdóttir, the translator and lyricist.
- Harald G. Haraldsson, the voice of the King in this sequel, was credited as Harald G. Haralds.
