  • Pekka Lehtosaari reprised only the speaking parts of Baloo in this sequel, while he was both speaking and singing in the first film (1993 dub).
  • Sami Saari and Aki Sirkesalo, part of the additional voices, were part of the Finnish band Veeti & The Velvets, which lent their voices to the vultures in the first movie (1993 dub).
    Sasu Moilanen, who is here the singing voice of Baloo, was also part of this band and was one of the vulture's voice in the first movie.
    Last member of the band, Veeti Kallio, was part of the cast this time.
  • Aki Sirkesalo died with his wife and two children on December 26, 2004 in the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, in Khao Lak (Thailand). He was 42 years-old.
  • Mirja Mäkelä (choir) was credited with her full name, Mirja Mäkelä-Dunkel.
  • The song "Bare Necessities" was miscredited as "Karhun elämäär" in Baloo's Solo.
