    Taiwan - March 5, 2004 ? (DVD)
  • While other countries used their original recordings for the song "I Just Can't Wait to Be King", it seems Taiwan redubbed it.
    However, they mention Xiè Mèng-Rǔ (謝孟汝) as the singing voice of Young Simba, who is also credited for the voice of adult Simba. Xiè Mèng-Rǔ (謝孟汝) was previously the singing voice of Young Vitani in the sequel "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" in 1999.
    Meanwhile, the original 1994 voices of Young and Adult Simba, Liú Ān (劉安) and "Leo Lee" Lǐ Yǒng (李勇) respectively, are credited in the additional voices.
    Xiè Mèng-Rǔ (謝孟汝) was also credited as the singing voice of Young Simba in the 2003 added scene in the first film.
    It is unknown whether Taiwan made a mistake in the credits about the voices, or whether Xiè Mèng-Rǔ (謝孟汝) really did dub the singing of Young Simba and the speaking of Adult Simba.
  • While it seems they reprised the lyrics of the 1994 songs, the credits do not mention the 1994 lyricist, Lóu Ēn-Qí (樓恩奇).
  • Shěn Guāng-Píng (沈光平), the voice of Banzai, was miscredited as Chén Guāng-Píng (沉光平).
