France - October 4, 2006 (DVD) (Partial redubbing) - To find a voice for Melody, a big national contest was held : "Une Voix pour Mélodie" ("A Voice for Melody"). Promoted in newspapers, on radio and on TV, 4000 entries were received. On May 2000, 33 contestants were eventually chosen to audition, and Nathalie Fauran, convinced to audition by her friend, eventually won.

Sadly, she passed away on July 11, 2022, from an undisclosed illness. She was only 37 years-old. - Due to the fame of Henri Salvador, who was the voice of Sebastian in the 1989 dub of the first film, Sebastian's parts in this sequel were redubbed for the 2006 release.
- Claude Chantal, the voice of Carlotta, was credited by her nickname, Claudie Chantal.
