  • The Korean title is actually not a translation, but a transcription of the English subtitle "The Magic Sword" : 매직 스워드 (maejik seuwodeu).
  • Son Won-il (손원일) and Kim Seong-gi (김성기), the speaking and singing voices of Garrett, have dubbed together the same year the voice of Cinderella's Prince Charming in "Cinderella".
  • Choe Byeong-sang (최병상), the speaking voice of the Griffin, died on November 15, 2008 of liver cancer. He was 51 years-old.
  • Park Jo-ho (박조호), the voice of the King Arthur, was credited with his former name, Park Ji-hun (박지훈).
