MENA - September 6, 2023 (Disney+) - The Egyptian and Modern Standard Arabic dubs were done at the same time and have the same cast and technical staff.
- A special mention was made in the end credits : "Dedicated to the soul of the artist Ahdy Sadeq (عهدي صادق)". He was the voice of Scuttle in the original 1998 Egyptian dub of the animated movie, and died in 2022.
- While the vocals by Halle Bailey were kept in the movie versions of the two Arabic dubs for Vanessa; the French vocals by Cerise Calixte were used in the Modern Standard Arabic soundtrack.
- Only a Modern Standard Arabic soundtrack was released.
- The Modern Standard Arabic soundtrack mistitled the track "Eric's Decision" as " قرار آريل ", which actually means "Ariel's Decision" - the title was corrected on this page.
- As in the Egyptian 1998 dubbing of the animated movie, Sebastian speaks with a Sudanese accent.
- Rula Zaky (رولا زكي), the original Egyptian Arabic voice of Ariel in the animated movie (1998 dubbing), returned to dub Jodi Benson, Ariel's original voice, as the Market Vendor.
- Diyaa Abdel Khaleq (ضياء عبد الخالق), the voice of King Triton, was the voice of Flotsam & Jetsam in the original Egyptian dub of the animated movie in 1998.
- Ihab Shawy (إيهاب شاوي), the Musical director of the two Arabic dubs, was the Dubbing director of the 1998 Egyptian Arabic dub of the animated movie, and the Musical director of the 2022 Modern Standard Arabic dub of the animated movie as well.
