France - May 24, 2023 - Claire Guyot, the Dubbing director, was the voice of Ariel in the 1989 French dubbing of the animated movie and TV series, as well as the speaking voice of the character in all her animated appearances from 1998 - redubbing of the animated movie - until 2018. In this remake, she dubs the Market Vendor, played by Jodi Benson, the original voice of Ariel.
Claire is the mother of Camille Gondard, the voice of Rosa, born of first union; and Martin Faliu, the voice of Prince Eric.
Simon Faliu, the voice of Flounder, is Martin's younger half-brother, born of a different mother. - Thierry Ragueneau, the voice of Mulligan, was the voice of Prince Eric in the first French dubbing of animated movie in 1989.
- Frédérique Varda was not credited in the movie, despite her participation to the additional voices.
