Japan - June 9, 2023 - An event was held in Tokyo on May 1st, 2023 to unveil the voice actors of the Japanese version, followed by a live performance of Part Of Your World by Toyohara Erika (豊原江理佳).
- Although he's best known under his Japanese name, Kimura Subaru (木村昴), the voice of Sebastian, was born in Germany of a German father and Japanese mother, and has also the name Subaru Samuel Bartsch.
- Suzuki Mayumi (すずきまゆみ), part of the additional voices, was the voice of Ariel in the animated movie in 1991 and in all her following appearances (with the exception of the movie Ralph Breaks the Internet in 2018). She certainly dubbed Jodi Benson, the original English voice of Ariel, as the Market Vendor.
- Masumi (ますみ) - real name Shimizu Masaki (清水麻清), the voice of Tamika, and Takeuchi Chisaki (竹内知咲), voicing the Village Woman, are part of the comedy duo 天才ピアニスト (Tensai pianisuto).
At first, only Masumi was asked to take part in the dubbing, but on the day of the recording, Chisaki begged the Dubbing director to give her role, and she ended up dubbing the Village Woman.
