- Release date :
Norway - December 24 or 26 (?), 1998 - Ofra Haza not only sang the role of Yocheved in the original version, but also in 14 other languages besides the Norwegian version.
- Åsleik Engmark, the voice of Huy, died suddenly on February 12, 2017 due to an undisclosed medical emergency in Brussels, while visiting family. He was 51 years-old.
- The soundtrack credits Lars Sørbo as the singing voice of Hotep, while both DVD and BLU-RAY credits mention Geir Rebbestad only for the role. However, while all the characters are credited by their speaking and singing voices separately in the DVD and BD credits, they don't mention singing voices for Hotep and Hui at all, as if those characters were not singing.
- Both the soundtrack and the BLU-RAY credits mention Geir Rebbestad as the Musical Director, instead of Harald Mæle as in the DVD credits.
