France - September 1, 1965 - Walt Disney was so pleased of Éliane Thibault's version that he sent her Mary Poppins' bag and umbrella.
- Élisabeth and Benjamin Boda are real siblings.
- In 1995, for the 30 years the film, a collector's edition double Laser Disc was produced exclusively in France.
- In the scene of the bank, two lines of Dawes Jr. are dubbed by another actor than Alfred Pasquali, the French voice of the character. Similarly, a line of Dawes Sr., voiced by Michel Roux, is pronounced in French by Roger Tréville, the voice of Mr. Banks.
