- Release date :
France - August 14, 2002 (Cinema) - While the movie was first announced in France with the title "Peter Pan 2", it was then promoted as "Retour au Pays Imaginaire". However, when the film and posters were released, it was eventually titled fully "Peter Pan 2 - Retour au Pays Imaginaire".
- Nathalie Fauran, the soloist singer, was revealed after winning the contest to find a voice for Melody in "The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea", released two years prior.
Jonatha Brooke, the original composer and performer of the song "I'll Try" in this movie, loved Nathalie's rendition of the song so much, she sent her a letter to congratulate her, as well as free albums to thank her. She also talked about making an album together.
Unfortunately, Nathalie passed away on July 11, 2022, from an undisclosed illness. She was only 37 years-old. - Hervé Rey, the voice of Peter Pan, is the only cast member to reprise his role in this sequel.
- Mattias Mella replaced his father Michel Mella in the role of Cubby, who dubbed the character in the 1992 re-dub of the first movie.
- Séverine Morisot, the voice of Wendy in the 1992 re-dub of the first movie, was replaced by Barbara Delsol, who actually reprised many of Séverine's dubbing roles when the latter disappeared from the artistic world.
- Gérard Dessalles (additional voice) was miscredited as Gérard Desalles.
- Hélène Otternaud (additional voice) was miscredited as Helen Otternaud.
- Thomas Lafforgue, the sound engineer, was miscredited as Thomas Laforgue.
