- Release date :
Canada - May 26, 2023 - Daniel Scott, who was the Musical director of the animated movie, returned in this remake to direct the songs again.
- Dominique Faure, part of the choir, was the singing voice of Ariel in the Quebec French dubbing of the animated movie in 1989.
- Marie-Ève Sansfaçon, part of the additional voices, was the voice of Ariel in "Ralph Breaks the Internet" (2018).
- This is the second time Catherine Brunet dubbed an animated character originally voiced by Awkwafina, after Sisu in "Raya and the Last Dragon" (2021).
- Although they have their own Quebec French titles, the lyrics of the songs Fathoms Below and Wild Uncharted Waters are the same as the European French dubbing.
- As there is no Quebec French soundtrack, the track titles for Eric's Decision, Vanessa's Trick and Ariel Regains Her Voice on this page are from the European French soundtrack.
- While Grimsby was originally called Amédée in the animated movie, he's called Grimsby in this adaptation. However, during a scene between the Queen and Grimsby after Ariel and Eric's escapade, a mistake was made as the Queen calls him once "Amédée".
