Thailand - May 25, 2023 - Kriangsak Rianthong (เกรียงศักดิ์ เหรียญทอง), the voice of King Triton, and Sansoen Phoksombat (สรรเสริญ โภคสมบัติ), the speaking voice of Sebastian, reprised those roles they had already dubbed in the animated movie (1998 redubbing) and the animated sequels.
- Chanchira Nimphithakphong (จันทร์จิรา นิ่มพิทักษ์พงศ์), who's been the voice of Ariel in the 1998 dubbing of the animated movie and in all her appearances since, returned here to dub Jodi Benson, the original voice of Ariel, as the Market Vendor.
- Sitthisom Mutthanukunwong (สิทธิสม มุทธานุกูลวงศ์), who was the voice of Scuttle in the animated movie (1998 redubbing) and the 2000 sequel "Return to the Sea", returned here as Sir Grimsby.
- For her part, Sukanda Bunyathanmik (สุกานดา บุณยธรรมิก), who was the speaking voice of Vanessa and one of Ariel's sister in the animated movie (1998 redubbing), and the voice of Carlotta in the sequel "Return to the Sea" (2000), returned here as Lashana. She was already the Musical director of the first movie (1998 redubbing) and the sequels.
- Thani Phunsuwan (ธานี พูนสุวรรณ) was already the Lyricist of the animated movie (1998 redubbing), and returned here to make adjustments and adapt the lyrics for the new songs.
- Thotsaphon (Tui) Rungwitthaya (ทศพร (ตุ้ย) รุ่งวิทยา), the Creative Supervisor, opened up the opportunity for the director to cast LGBTQ+ people for the role of Ursula. However, it's actress "Jeab" Nonthiya Jiobangpa ("เจี๊ยบ" นนทิยา จิวบางป่า) who eventually got the role, as she was the most fit.
Source : Exotic Quixotic - Phimphida Phithaksongkhram (พิมพิดา พิทักษ์สงคราม) had not only already dubbed Awkwafina's other animated character Sisu in "Raya and the Last Dragon" (2021), she also dubbed the actress in "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" (2021).
- Wan Wanwan (ว่าน วันวาน), the voice of Ariel's sister Karina, is the actual sister of BOWKYLION (โบกี้ไลอ้อน), Ariel's voice.
- Besides the Thailand Gala Premiere and the Special Screening with the voice artists, several fan screening events with Thai celebrities, such as Earth (เอิร์ท) & Mix (มิกซ์) or Tay Tawan (เต ตะวัน) & New Thitipoom (นิว ฐิติภูมิ) from GMMTV were held on May 25, 2023 in different cinemas across the capital.
